Summary: On arrival to our room the front desk was contacted as the garbage was not cleared from the room and a luggage rack was requested. The garbage was cleared out and towels were left in the room (which were not requested or needed) a second request for the luggage rack was made. Used Towels were removed from the room however the bath mat was removed but not replaced. Handtowels were not replaced either. Breakfast meals were very good.

Summary: Not so happy about $50 early check I fee room was ready. We were traveling from a cruise ship and had luggage and valuables. We checked out by 6:30am on Friday do we we get an early checkout return. No, of course not! The lower level where there was happy hour and breakfast could use some cleaning up everything looks tired. It is a shame there are so many homeless and drug psych people about.

Summary: The overnight was great, but we had an erroneous air quality sensor trigger in our room which was very easily handled by the manager without issue (sensor measurements were not matching up to the alert). All in all, another good stay and why we have exclusively booked this hotel for the past decade and then some.

Summary: Reception desk was amazingly helpful. We were staying in the area for my daughters' SAT tests the next morning. Unbeknownst to us, it was the eve of the Rose Festival in Portland so the area was noisy. They helped us get a quiet room suite so my daughters were well rested for the test. In fact, I think the suite was a bit larger that what I had originally booked. We couldn't stay long due to restricted traffic associated with parades, but the valet parking helped us get out before things got too congested. Stately Art Deco decor and luxurious suites made me think of a bygone era. This is definitely a place I would enjoy spending some more time during less pressured circumstances.

Summary: It's been almost 30 years since we were last here and the place is still nice. The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. A couple of things about the room showed the age; a faucet that was hard to shut off, toilet seat did not sit solidly and liked to twist to the side, the breakfast room/reception room is a bit old and dowdy. And the parking (valet only) is an eye-watering $65 a night for guests, which seems excessive. Otherwise the place is a grand old place to stay, in an area of town which is a bit dodgy with homeless tents on the sidewalks here and there. But it's a comfortable walk to Powells, the Saturday Market, and places to eat.

Summary: We had a great time! The room and hotel lobby were beautiful and clean. The front desk and business center were able to assist us with package delivery on a Sunday rather than finding a shipping store. The breakfast and happy hour drinks were a very nice perk! The pool area was the only part that may need some attention - but would definitely not stop me from staying here again! Overall a fabulous experience
